When Chloe’s senior session rolled around, I was beyond excited to try out a brand-new location—just a bit of a drive away but oh-so worth it! This hidden gem boasts 6 sprawling acres packed with everything you could ever want for a senior shoot: rustic bridges, wooded trails, open fields, and charming little nooks that make every photo feel unique and magical.
We spent hours wandering and exploring the space together, soaking up the scenery and hunting down the perfect spots. Fun fact: one of the beautiful bridges we had our hearts set on was nowhere to be found… until hour two of the shoot! It was like a little secret waiting to be discovered, and the wait totally paid off.
What made this session even more special? Chloe is the sister of one of my past team members! I always love shooting family members of past clients. While they bring their own unique energy and don’t necessarily look alike at first glance, once they start moving and posing, the similarities in their mannerisms and expressions shine through. It’s like an instant connection—I already know what’s going to work best for them, which makes the whole experience flow so naturally and comfortably.
Chloe brought her own amazing vibe to the session, but with those familiar little traits, I felt like I’d known her forever. Together, we captured images that truly reflect her personality and spirit, all set against the beautiful backdrop of our new favorite spot.
