Not every senior fits into one style, and I don't think their senior pictures should either. Josie's Class of 2027 senior session was the perfect example of that. By combining the charm of downtown Paxton with the peaceful beauty of a country location near Rantoul, Illinois, we created a gallery full of variety while still feeling completely cohesive.

Two locations, endless variety


One of the biggest advantages of choosing a longer senior session is having the flexibility to explore more than one location.


For Josie, we started in downtown Paxton. Downtown offers so much character that many people overlook when searching for senior picture locations in Central Illinois. The brick walls add warmth and texture, creating a timeless backdrop that works beautifully with both casual and dressy outfits. We also found pockets of colorful flowers that softened the urban feel and added bright pops of color throughout her gallery.


After exploring downtown, we headed to a quiet country location near Rantoul. Instead of brick and sidewalks, we were surrounded by tall grasses, open skies, and a peaceful dirt road that stretched into the distance. It created that classic Midwest summer feel that so many seniors love.


Having two completely different locations allowed us to create a gallery that felt diverse while still celebrating everything that makes Central Illinois so beautiful.


Five outfits that were planned perfectly


One of the things that made Josie's session especially successful was how thoughtfully she planned her wardrobe.


Her package included five outfits, and each one brought something different to the session. Some outfits felt casual and relaxed. Others were dressier and a little more elevated. She mixed different colors, fabrics, and textures, creating a gallery that never felt repetitive.
