A photography session is so much more than pretty photos at the end - it's the experience of the session as well! During your session experience, there's nothing more important to me than making you feel valued and understood. Everyone should be able to walk into a photography session and be able to feel comfortable to be themselves and have their unique personalities captured!
When you schedule a session with me, I'm not just your photographer, but I become your stylist, biggest enthusiast, and sometimes even your therapist.

my photography journey
I purchased my camera when my son was born - about 5 years ago. Once I decided I wanted to start serving clients, I started spending all my free time learning everything I could about photography, lightroom, and photoshop! Once I started taking on clients, I was hooked! I love the high and the challenge that photography brings to me! The satisfaction that I get from creating beautiful images for my clients is incredibly fulfilling and everything anyone could ever want from a job!
coffee and chocoholic
You will often find me at our local coffee shop. There's just something about the coffee shop atmosphere that kicks up my productivity! The lovely smells are just a bonus - and I love when I get home and my computer bag still smells like the coffee shop! My go to order is a mocha latte - with extra mocha!
the long term goals
Currently, I work full time as an accountant. While I do absolutely love numbers, my dream is to eventually do photography full time. I love the freedom and flexibility of a career in photography (although the hours we put in are much more than expected). But, there's still the ability to create a schedule that works for myself and my family. Being around for family time is incredibly important to me! I also love that photography can create traveling opportunities, because I love exploring new places!
