What information to include in your save-the-date
When ordering save-the-dates, most examples will include placeholders for the information you will want to include. However, if you are designing your own, you will want to include your names, your wedding date, and location (if you know it).
When to send your save-the-dates
Typically, save the dates are sent about 9 months before the wedding date. Most importantly, you want to have your date and potentially your venue locked in so you can share that information with your guests.
If you want a photo of yourselves to include on the save-the-date, make sure you book your engagement session a month or so before you plan on sending out your save-the-dates!
Who gets a save-the-date
Save-the-dates should only be sent to guests you know will be invited to the wedding. This is why it is a good idea to have a venue in mind so you know how many people you will be able to accommodate.

There are so many great options for ordering wedding stationary! I personally love designing my own and ordering them through my printing lab.
